And not a PC?

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious here, but can you only copy music or podcasts to an Apple IPod, from an Apple Mac?

On a similar theme if I were to copy some AAC or MP3's onto a CD on my PC would I be able to pick them up on Itunes on a Mac (or vice versa)?

A Mac should be able to read a data cd burnt on a PC without any problems (and vice versa).
