Recently bought sony RDR HXD-710. Good recorder and player with none of the locking up problems I have read about. However one thing really bugs - it wont auto play ripped Video DVDs either -R or +R. Ripping the DVDs like I allways did using DVD Shrink and Nero. Anyone else have this problem ? Grateful for any advice.

Shouldn't be a problem whatsoever. Maybe the quality of the media you are using.

Plays the ones I burn on my Mac no problem.
