Hi,

I've got a Nokia N95 on T-Mobile (WNW branding), i've had this around 3 months now and haven't had any issues, however, this week it's started randomly rebooting itself.

It doesn't matter what you do, it'll just reboot, it does this around 3 times a day.

I'm reluctant to do a factory restore, i've got over 2000 text messages on here and don't fancy having to readjust all the settings again!

It's running the latest firmware, just wondered if anyone else had any suggestions?

Cheers.

Do a backup to memory card, using memory manager, then do a factory restore, then restore back settings from the memory card, take it your on firmware version 12.0.013 ?

How long does the battery life last on the N95?

Change the product ID to a Generic one, the you will get the Firmware as Nokia intended, and get version 12, which makes the GPS lock on in under 30 seconds.
Go to www.allaboutsymbian.com forums for a guide.

As for the next post on battery life, i charge mine every other night when asleep with average use. about 20 mins of call time a day, 50 texts and about 2-5 mins on the net.

You could also back up to your PC using PC Suite. This would enable you to archive your text messages as well.

2000 texts! Don't the N95 have a delete option

The N95 is a poor phone, an expensive toy that does everything but not very well. More bugs than a tramps vest. Features to die for but you'll die trying to get them to work.

I'm not anti-nokia, just anti-N95 its a big pile of hiped up junk. Strong views, but valid.

Erm...your opion is valid, doesn't make it true! I've had my N95 since May and I've not had any trouble with it at all other than the GPS taking forever to lock on - and the latest update will fix that.
