How could we have improved the Crossroads ending?
I couldn't believe the pathetic ending of Crossroads on Friday! Are we really expected to believe that Angel dreamed at least three months of running a hotel in a five minute daydream??
I would have thought that the best way would have been Angel waking up in a hospital bed after a three month coma, having dreamt running Crossroads every single day. Or....Ethan could have set fire to the hotel to get revenge on Max. Then the hotel explodes and thats the end of Crossroads. What do you think?

I think KATE should have woke up and she had dreamed the whole 'Angel & Max owning the hotel' and it was back to how it use to be, with Jake Booth, and Nichola.... back to the good old days

Not so much a dream as a nightmare.
There's room for a decent home grown daytime soap. Night n Day flopped because it was too weird and Crossroads because it fell into self parody.. Give Albion Market another go. It was getting watchable when it was axed. |

I gotta admit, I was saddened by the end of Crossroads, I did like it and the dream sequence however funny or surreal did not do the show justice at all

The dream sequence was probably a bitter response fro m the producers for the show being axed.

I agree. I think they could have kept that family and had guests booking into the hotel so we could follow their stories as well as kate and hers. I didn't like Angel and her family |

How could we have improved the Crossroads Ending?
Erm, simple, ITV replaces it within the shedule at 3 minutes notice with something better, then destroyed the tape, destroyed the studios, and destroyed all actors --- ok may be destroying the set is a bit two far... but the other two r worth it!

Did you know Scott never acted before his part in "Crossroads 3" - not bad for a first timer. Look on the Internet Movie Database - search for Crossroads (2001) and then click on the cast info.

If that was "Crossroads 3" shouldn't he be called "Scott 2"?
![]() How did he age that much in a year? Could you imagine Rio falling for the old scott and vice versa? Slightly scary. |

I enjoyed the ending but it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. It was simply Yvon Grace and Co sticking two fingers up at ITV. The proper ending was the screening of Scott's video. Quote:

Ahem, well I taped EVERY episode of Crossroads to watch in the future. I'm a bit sad like that and if I like a show I must tape every episode I can. I have a large collection of Prisoner, Dallas and Home & Away.Tony |

I should have been in charge!
Right, here's how it ends. I'd have did the whole episode up until the end of Scott's film. Then, everything would go blurry as we hear 'Angela! Angela! Wake up,". Fade in to a messy flat where Angel is being woken up by Max.
ANGEL: What time is it? MAX: 5 o clock. ANGEL: Thanks for waking me up then. MAX: How come? ANGEL: I might have missed Crossroads then. She reaches for the remote and turns the TV on. The bright orange credits from 2001/2 roll and it was only the Yvon Era that was a dream! It turns out Angel is a housewife who was a fan of the Mk2 show and dreamed of being in it. Then her sister in for tea. Cue a cameo from Yvon Grace. YVON: Oh, Crossroads is starting. Just in time then. ANGEL: Yeah but no talking. YVON: Okay, if only I had my way on that show. It'd be just like Dallas. Fade to black.... |
