My idea for the next revamp of Crossroads
Right, I've just had an idea for an all new Crossroads.
We could have the company that took over Stocks Supermarkets keeping on all the staff and every day we see Angela doing her checkout business. Then we see her dozing off into a dreamworld and, voila! It's the Crossroads Hotel in her dream. We can have all our normal ludricous Crossroads action. Like they've been doing, they could have cameos. Say, for example, we have Graham Norton doing a cameo. We could see him having his goods scanned by our very own Angela. Then we see her go off into cloud cuckoo land and there he is part of the Crossroads storyline. Do you think five would buy the idea? ![]() Matt :¬| |

I think that post was probably a joke. I liked Crossroads, because it was new and different. Eastenders and Corrination street recycle storylines constantly and Crossroads was a change.
I think the problem lay in the fact that it was a hotel. Guests constantly change, so you can't use them in major storylines, so if I was to bring it back heres how I would do it. Go back to how it was before Angel took over with Kate and the Booths running it Jakes power struggle he sells the hotel under the nose of Kate and it's demolished and they build a housing estate, we join two years later where Familys have moved in and theres the token pub and small shop. |

Maybe Angel could wake up in here office and find out she dreamt it was a dream and it was real anyway.

It's just my not being able to accept Crossroads is gone - bit sad really! It would be funny if they did re-do it like I said. It'd certainly do for continuity. Plus it'd be aptly absurd ![]() Matt :¬P |

IF anybody did pick it up again (but how unlikely is that?) then they'd most likely forget that any of that actually happened.
The other possibility is that 'Tracy Booth from Crossroads' appeared in the supermarket, so we understand that there is A show called crossroads 'somewhere'. That could be produced, but would have a completely different cast (except, possibly, for Tracy *groan* ) |

They should have a law where crossroads can NEVER RETURN and anyone who considers returning it should be locked up.

I have this gut feeling that Crossroads will return by 2020 - not under that name, but as "King's Oak", ironically the title that William Smethurst - the Yvon Grace of his day - wanted to call Crossroads before it got canned first time.
