I've just bought a d900i as I am fed up with the touch sensitive keys on my u600. I am on vodafone and the d900i is on O2.
I have been able to put my vodafone sim straight in but does anybody know how I get rid of the O2 logo and welcome graphics when I sign in, its not a big deal but I am jut being fussy.
More importantly, I need a bit of help with the memory card. I took the micro sd card from the u600 and, again, it fitted straight into the new phone. But, on the u600, when viewing memory status in the menu, it gave the option to check phone or card memory, I don't see this on the d900i, it just seems to show phone memory. Is this normal ?
I am a bit of a novice with memory cards. Is it the case that anything I video or download to the phone, is limited to the actual memory available on the phone and not the card ? eg although I might have 512mb on the card, if I only have 5mb free on the phone does this mean I can't download anything over 5mb without shifting files to the memory card ? Am I correct in saying that you can't record videos or download files straight to the memory card with the d900i.
thanks
