What a great thread this is !! My favourite, too, of BB4Let's keep it going some.

I'll throw in an attraction and mark this space.

Fed and Sissy...very big time if Fed survives long enough.
”

I agree, did you see Sissy throw herself at Fed when she was drunk coming out of the red room. Altough Fed was cool towards her as he is to all the women I'm starting to wonder if he's gay.

I wonder if Fed had a really bad relationship with a woman in the past. It might explain his attitude.

I don't think Federico is Gay, maybe bi, but I don't think so, if you have to speculate it is highly likely Scott is the gay one, thats if anyone is.

The thing with Federico is that he is so immature, he hasn't learnt any respect for women.

Scott's a thoughtful guy. He's written a play. His best friends outside the house are women.

Perhaps..

BB usually puts one token gay in the house - whoever it is has just kept quiet so far, or maybe there are a few bi's - oh who cares anyway

I thought Justine mentioned she was a lesbian/had lesbian tendencies to Steph during the first week.

The latest toilet "weegate" fiasco may have set the girls nominating all guys.

Bur do they feel they have more in common with her than with say Cam or Justine? Well we shall soon see...

On the gender grounds - I noted we had Dermot's little tease on BBLB and we has three male HMs all clearly nominating males (or a male). The plot thickens...

I think everybody's closed ranks on Federico. I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for him. He's a **** but it'll hit hard if/when he's evicted.

I can't really feel terribly sorry for Fed. He's dug his own grave - being lazy, the idiotic behaviour last night, the task thing, etc etc. For once, someone seems to have managed to make themselves look awful without any help from the editing.

I really wish they the producers would atleast make an attempt to end the boy/girl divide. They start it out like this from day one by having boy/girl bedrooms.

I really hate to steal from the US BB again but they have solved this problem.

They have 3 bedrooms (technically 4) in all, one is very nice and cosey and has a double bed, another that is again fairly comfortable but has less privacy and is seperated by a glass wall. On the otherside is the basic bedroom which has a couple of army cots for the last group into the house. Then there is also another double bed in HoH room.

The double beds in the house are there for a reason...to share. You will find 2 singles and 1 double in one room so you have no choice unless you sleep on the couch in the living room.

The clever part is they dont let them enter the house one by one. They all (12) line up outside the house and are called into the house in groups of 4.

The first group of 4 has 1 minute to find a bed before the next group are called in. Obviously the groups are mixed sex and you will find once they find a room they are happy with they will claim it as theres and voila you have a mixed sex room.

There is urgency as there isn't a lot of time to decide so they think less about where they choose to sleep as long as it isn't on the basic army cots with sleeping bags.

I think the lack of interaction (from what ive watched) between the opposite sex's has been dissapointing.

So there is another idea. 3 bedrooms which should end up mixed is just another way of trying to mix things up a bitliterally.

Can't really see that happening here. Remember, we are British!

I seem to recall that Andy in BB1 suggested that they have mixed bedrooms and his idea was stamped on by the women.

In BB2, Brian slept in the girls' room when Josh arrived.

I know this is pretty high up the thread, but

“Not sure where Gos, Steph and Cameron would come into things”

As far as I can see, Gos and Cam seem to be generally well-liked among everybody, and thus less likely to be nominated.

Watch my theory be proved completely untrue when nominations are revealed.

It's not a case of trying to get them to shag ben. Remember the US along with the UK are the only BB's where nothing 'proper' has happened.

It is done like this to mix the dynamics up so you dont end up with a room full of girls and boys.

They didn't formally have Boys and Girls rooms this year diod they - its just that all the boys went in one and all the girls in the other. Of course they broke things up last year with the divide - I'm not sure it made that much difference though.

Ben they dont have a choice. They pressure them to choose a bed and in most cases they will end up with mixed bedrooms.

"Ok the first 4 into the house...Federico,Justine, Nush and Cameron you have 1 minute to find a bed starting NOW"

The room with the army cots means if you are the last group in you will be lumped with the crappy beds. Bed swapping doesn't happen much until the first 2 or 3 are out of the house.

Thats because the early stages of bonding had already taken place. I mean anything to get rid of the lads farting at night.

BB's never said that there was a boy bedroom and a girl bedroom, up to the housemates.
Maybe it would have been interesting if one of the boys had demanded the double bed whoever else was in the room.

They come together eventually anyway.

What colours were the 2 bedrooms in the first series?

They may not have told them that one room is the boys and the other is for the girls but they should do something that shakes things up a bit.

Yes, but there's some cultural differences here. The British are traditionally (stereotypically) more reserved than Americans. I can't really see that working on BBUK. It would be a real acid test on the first day though!

BB1 obviously intended the guys and gals to have separate bedrooms.

Boys bedroom = green.
Girls bedroom = pink.
