O2 data or not?

Can any of you O2 people assist me with a small billing query, please?

My chappie is using my O2 moby to connect his pda onto the net but dialing a normal landline number. Will it be billed as a data call or as part of my inclusive minutes?

I think it goes in the inclusive minutes.

Why doesn't he just use the standard O2 WAP number? It is in fact a standard TCP/IP PPP connection. On my PDA I use it and can get web pages, wap pages, MSN Messenger, AIM and POP3 E-Mail. I am on O2 pre-pay and subscribe to the £4.99 "500 minutes of Mobile Internet" bolt on and then all my access to the Net using my PDA is therefore free (for 500 minutes anyway). Leaving my credit to use on voice calls.
