Seems that certain fans of other HMs want to have their cake and eat in in their detraction of Liam. It seems that when Liam joshes about the size of Gerry's manhood then it's "homophobic bullying" but when Gerry does it re: Liam it's to be commended and is just another example of Liam taking it all out on other HMs because he has an inferiority complex.

The double standards over Liam dislike abound.
Oh yes definitely, what Gerry says is ignored but when Liam retaliates it's because he is a spiteful bully, Liam never jokes about anything, he has no sense of humour, he is just a fat ugly bully  That really is the extent the Liam dislikers go to, it's pitiful.

If Liam was a bully, then I hope other bully's would use him as a role model!

It would make this world such a nicer place I think!

On another thread Liam detrators seem to be using the "post alerted" system to try and get rid of opposition - although 'Keynes' ought to be a little bit less obvious.
Have you looked on the liam is gay thread

Someone is baiting (basically winding someone up), then when they bite and say something they shouldn't, they report them. It happens a lot but the mods tend to see what is going on and why people have bit and delete/ban etc accordingly.

Of course some people are not angels though and have said wrong things themselves so i don't know what will happen in that case i'm just trying to help you with the rules and lingo a bit
That was much better than my explanation.

I'm just waiting for the OP to reply to me on that thread - gone strangely quiet.

TBH, the Liam dislike is gettiong absurd. Saw a post earlier moaning that he asked the twins for their potato - I'm being deadly serious!

Glad to see the thread has reached page 3, got to admit I was a bit worried about the lack of success these threads have been having.

I hope we'll be able to keep this thread on the front page from now on - show him a bit of support that (for some reason) he's lacking.

I haven't seen, i will go look in a minute, the person we have both mentioned said very wrong things about a different HM and has had a little holiday because of it, hopefully they know the boundaries now, i hate people praising one HM by slandering another, i'm just too soft i suppose

No I agree. I mean, my least favourite HM is Gerry (or Carole, or Ziggy - depends what mood I'm in!) but I don't praise Liam up by knocking Gerry.

Surely, your favourite HM must have enough good attributes by their self without having to rely on knocking another HM to make them look good?

I saw Liam ask on live feed and i saw the thread. In reality:
Liam: "Can i use your potato for this sauce?"
Twins: "Well we wanted it for our soup tomorrow"
Liam: "Ok"

In forum world...
Liam: "Give me your potato"
Twins: (visably shaking) "But, but we wanted it for..."
Liam: "I want the potato and i will have it if i want to."

It does get that bad

It's a bit worrying isn't it?

I mean, I know Liam isn't perfect - who is? But he seems to be over-analysed all the time now!

My post was very tongue in cheek as you know, there was a lot of buts from the twins as they didn't want to say no in reality but Liam didn't look like he minded at all.

He isn't perfect, he is a 23 year old that i would really get on with though.

I can take his sense of humour and not get offended in the slightest, i think people are a bit to literal when it comes to Liam, they take everything he says as an insult, people are a bit to up tight, if they had ever worked in a pub then he is your star customer.

Maybe i'm not educated enough to take offence

Considering he said earlier he drinks 15+ pints over a weekend, yes I have to say he probably is a fantastic customer!

I just hope they don't show him saying that on the HLs tomorrow - I'm sure he'll be labelled an alcoholic quicker than I can type the word!

I owned pubs and would of loved Liam to be there, 15 pints on a weekend isn't a lot compared to most lads of his age, of course he could of said 2 and would still have been slated we have to remember we are talking about the devil in disguise

I've got to admit, I'm not sure whether it was a wekend or one night!

I think we've got be careful not to become too defensive or paranoid though. As long as we keep our arguments well reasoned (even if the others don't!) and clear, then maybe, just maybe, we may be able to make others see our POV. If we go 'oh you just hate Liam' it's not going to help.

Sorry, slipped into lecture mode there. Don't know why that happened!

Nor do i I have always said that Liam is a dipstick when he is, he says stupid things at the worse times possible but i honestly think that he means no harm, it's a knee jerk reaction, uncomfortable = stupid joke!

Seems that on the 'small dick' thread the OP really doesn't want to face his/her double standards.

Yeah, no one's perfect. He said it himself to Kara-Louise (?) - he's gets really uncomfortable when people get emotional and tries to get away. If he can't he says something stupid to lighten the situation up.

OK, he can be a bit crass, but as you said, he means no harm.
