Good morning all,

I have a motorola V3 on orange payg. Does anyone know how to set up or indeed is it possible, to set up delivery reports for text messaging.

Looked through the menus of the phone but can't see it anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

Do Orange charge for reports on PAYG now too?

I thought it was only contact!

Oops might be wrong, sorry, forgot it was only contract. Not 100% sure on PAYG.

Well after a lot of looking around the net, I finally found the solution.

It seems with some software versions you have to use a "seam editor" and tinker around with the so called seam in the software.

I managed to do it, and now I have the option for delivery reports.

At lest 02 delivery reports at free even if you have to type *0# before the message but I find them only to be 98% right moist of the time but I do like the delivery reports.

The 1p charge only applies to Contract customers.

PAYG is still free.

What about T-Mobile? And are they of the O2 variety or can you set to always request one?
