Nokia 6300 USB slot

Hi,
I've recently bought the Nokia 6300 and its a superb phone - does everything it says on the tin.

However, the USB port is covered by a seemingly fixed cover (with the USB insignia on it)
Any ideas how this comes off as I want to connect the phone to my PC?

I would try and prise it off with a knife but dont want to damage the phone.

I dont fancy having to take the entire back cover off each time either as it was a right git to get off to put the battery/sim card in.

Any advice appreciated,
Clank

It is quite difficult to open ( the plastic is a little too stiff ). Found a nice pic from mobile review to show how it looks when open, you should be able to see how to get to it now. Its hinged at the back of the phone, as shown ....

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that BT,

Problem is I still cant nurdle the cover off...I've tried tweezers and a very thin flat head screwdriver, but now the casing looks damaged.

Is there a nack to it or will I have to live with taking the back casing off every time?
Its a bit of a crazy design flaw dont you think?

Its not the best cover ever

If you get your nail into the side near the audio connector then it usually bends up a little and you can pull it from the top.

As I said its a little stiff, but I've never had a problem .... maybe once its been done a few times it'll be easier.

Yeah its a bitch first time I had to take the metal back off cos I couldnt quite get it but when you've done it once it gets easier. Kinda like the old 3210/3310's when you first get them getting the back case off was a real battle.
