O2 SIM keeps being deactivated!

Does anyone know why my SIM keeps being deactivated? The first time happened two weeks ago. When I rang O2 they said it was because I hadn't made a chargeable phone call in six months so it was deactivated. They then reactivated it and gave me my credit back, plus £2.50 as a good will gesture. It is now deactivated again, despite the fact that I have made SEVERAL chargeable phone calls in the past two weeks.

Anyone else suffering the same problem? I can't ring O2 'cause I don't have a touch tone phone so they don't put me through if I don't choose an option the buggers.

Don't know much about o2. Is it a normal number your dialling or 0870.

But if you call 9 times out of 10, if you hold it should transfer your call to customer service agent.

I have a phone without touchtone so I don't even bother with options, I wait until they stop rattling them off and they put me through anyway, but with O2 CC they don't put you through unless an option is chosen.

Perhaps I am missing something but how did you call them the first time?
Or you could email them?
Or go into an O2 shop?

once the sim is reconnected you need to top it up within 24 hours of it being reconnected otherwise the system disconnectes it again, the process has recently changed, if your sim was disconnected due to lack of use in 6 months it wouldnt be connected again and the credit was lost...

It was topped up as soon as it was reconnected by O2. I'm going to phone them soon as soon as my new phone charges lol

I called the International number because it's open 24 hours. I didn't complain as such, I just asked for it to be reconnected and give my credit back lol. All is fine now, I topped up within 24 hours of reconnection so hopefully it wont happen again!
