Even with the latest firmware this recorder is VERY fussy over the disks it will accept. I either get disk is not recordable or some message about incompatible audio format. Before I throw it out of the windows can someone who has this machine PLEASE tell me the disks they use so I can be sure to buy ones that will definetely work.

I've had one of these machines for 2 weeks and so far just used Verbatum +RW.

No problems encountered so far, and the recordings have played ok on my Panasonic DVDR and a 4 year old Thomson Freeview/DVD player.
