T-Mobile Ending 20% Promotion.
I have received a text from T-Mobile telling me the 20% extra credit promotion ends on 30th September. I emailed T-Mobile and received a reply saying that the 20% extra credit promotion ended on August 1st! On the website it says end of September.
I must add that the standard of English in the reply was extremely poor eg. "Write now wev'e promotion Friday" Do T-Mobile not train their staff on new promotions ? |

There has been some problems with sms being sent out advising customers of the wrong info, in light of that Im sure they have extended the promotion to fit with the sms. The brains at T-Mobile moved the email team to the phillipines, im sure your aware, a country that doesnt speak English as mother tongue!!

I emailed with a problem about the 20% extra credit not being used up when I make a call. (my normal credit is used up but the promotional credit isn't touched. According to the terms and conditions the promotional credit should be used first ). I got a reply that ignored my question, saying that the promotion had ended on August the 1st and had been replaced by Top-Up fridays. I knew this was wrong because the SMS and website both said it was ending at end of september.
i think the person at T-Mobile had confused the 20% promotion with the free evening and weekend texts promotion which ended on 30th July. Thanks for telling me about the email team being in the Phillipines, I shall phone in future if I can persuade you guys to pick up the phone. |

It's not a case of not wanting to answer, its another example of the powers that be not recruiting staff at the busiest times!! Believe me I work 12 hours 3 days a week and answer well over 150 calls on a busy day!! |

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it to sound like I was criticising you. Just that whenever I phone T-Mobile (the company) it takes ages to answer. When I can get through, everyone I have spoken to there ,is always friendly and try to be helpful, but in my experience sometimes don't succeed. That's why I tried emailing.
Now I know how hard you have to work, its easier to understand. I thought it was a training issue, now I know its probably over-worked staff. That's probably also the reason for silly things like not being able to use the promotional credit. Its a shame because a company with such competitive prices and dedicated staff like you should succeed. |

It's a shame T-Mobile seem to be going right downhill again ending the free texts and now ending the 20% credit. Hopefully they've got something wonderfully big planned for the future.
