The dreaded Sonic Stage

Normally I can bear with this software but this time I just want to rant. I've just spent £20 at the connect store to have every single download bloody hang, causing me to restart SS. No firewalls to worry about either. Latest SS etc.

I've got a NW-A806 player which I think is (currently) better than my Nano; so I'm using that.
But sadly I keep forgetting how unbelievably poor Sonys software is. I've read on many other forums people having lots of other issues with this - quite frankly - piece of shite software.
Lots of you probably have it working perfectly and there have been times when mine behaves itself for a while. But generally it is not a good product at all.

Will Sony ever get this right?

i had a minidisc man, and gave up on S Stage, and used real player.

dunno if it will work for you but might be worth a try.

in the end i sucumbed (?) to the dark side and went ipod - its crap but its infinitely better than the sony software

shame it cant play a mix cd without the gaps though...

Are you on about having gapless audio on your iPod? It can be done. Just select the tracks you want to make gapless and right click on them and select 'Get Info' and when the information box comes up, tick the 'Gapless Album' box and click OK. iTunes will then make the selected tracks gapless and your iPod will play them in gapless as well.
