I'm a current Virgin Mobile customer on Pay As You Go, but I was thinking of switching to contract and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on them as a contract provider?
I've always thought they have had good customer service etc, so I was just going to buy a contract SIM and continue to use my current phone with the text £20 a month option.

A couple of questions though - hopefully someone will be able to shed some light.

Are they fixed time contracts? It doesn't really bother me if they are but out of interest I suppose.

I'm assuming that you can't transfer unused texts/minutes to the next month, but can I check online what i've used in order to make the most out the money i'm paying?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Edit: One other thing - I hope i'm not taking for granted that the free texts/minutes are to all networks and not just Virgin Mobile. Can someone confirm?

I am on the tariff you describe.

Its a 30 day contract- your free to leave after your first month.

Texts and Minutes are to any UK mobile or Landline.

Unused texts and minutes roll over for an additional one month only. So for example if you were given 300 texts and only used 250 of them, next month you have 350 texts.

It's a great deal. I highly recommend it!

Thanks for the information.

Thinking about it after I posted, its actually quite good if its just a 30 day contract. At the moment, being on Pay As You Go, I do tend to use texts and calls minimally so that I have credit if I need it. If I only get a month at a time then i'll be able to see if its actually worth me being on a contract without getting tied into a 12 month deal.

If you happen to be a Virgin Media customer, for the next few weeks you can sign up to 300 mins + 300 texts for £10 a month.
