For the record, i think he actually looks fine. I can certainly understand why he'll get the mothers vote if he put up for eviction. He just looks like the son most mothers would want. He never swears, seems polite and friendly.

Re: the psy. person on RI:SE , she was concerned too then ? Did she really say 'dark evil side' ?
There is a mature blonde body language person on BBLB, was that her ?

No it wasn't her.

What she infact said was that someone showing such a pious nature is usually masking a dark underbelly.

Does anyone recall right at the start when someone mentioned religion and Cam said "I wouldn't say I was religious - but I'm a Christian", which struck me as a bit guarded?

[Cameron's family connections within the media world are interesting too. The TV world in this country is quite a small one where everybody knows or knows someone who knows, everybody else. It is also extraordinarily incestuous. Siblings or offspring of successful TV people can stroll into cushy jobs that outsiders would have to work their way up to the hard way.
Some more information about Cameron's connections within the industry would be useful. I'm not necessarily suggesting they played any part in his becoming a BB contestant, but they point to his being a lot more media-savy than the bumbling yokel he is currently trying to portray. [/b]”

Would you call a presenter on Scottish Television that no-one knew of before his brother went into the house a "Successful TV person"???? I've never even seen his brother on our wonderful Scottish television screens!

EXACTLY. I'd have liked Cameron more if he'd have just said - "I'm a Christian" straight up.

It was more to do with his whole attitude not his religious belief.
He refuses to open up about anything eg 'What's your ideal woman.' He could have answered a soul mate, or someone that shares my beliefs, I don't know etc, but no he refused to answer.

He is 31 been around and about you would think he would have some opinion. He could have used the word partner as opposed to woman if he didn't want to draw debate of any kind but no comment just makes you wonder.

I don't imagine that there was a lot of competition to be honest!!! unfortunately we only seem to be able to produce people like Gail Porter!

Thanks Bob I must watch out for him now!

Dome,

I could get that, it was just the use of the word pious which I took to be its absolute defination of being devoutely religious. Strange turn of phrase, or an expert trying to use fancy sounding words??!

Actually I thought the word was quite apt in reference to Cameron. His whole attitude to me, has been holier than thou. His trip to the diary room was the icing on the cake.

A photo of him is to the left of the article. He doesn't look like Cameron.

I thought the Psycologist on RI:SE looked a bit like Sherrie Palmer in 24.

I think Cameron is really nice (and quite dishy as well!)

I read the interview with his brother and he is obviously well educated, well travelled, cares for his parents (and no, he does not live with them), and seems content with his life.

Saying that though - if he is so content with his lot in life, why on earth apply to Big Brother? I really don't believe anyone does it just for the 'krack', or wanting to get a toaster idea out to have a 'Tickle Toaster' company.

Why do people assume everyone has a dark side and deep hidden secrets. Some people are exactly what they seem.

If I had to have a friend, (erm I do have friends - I just mean if I was in the house) I think I could do a lot worse than have Cameron as one.

I really didn't like the diary room thing though - that struck me as very very strange. Of course he was talking to 'us' the viewers, and not BB. It was obviously a miscalculation on his part. I almost went off him then!

I am quite sure all of them have a game plan, (I mean if you were in with a chance of winning 70k - is it still that amount?), wouldn't you have a plan before you went in? I sure as heck would. I would never rely on the Great British Public liking me for being myself.

I don't think in such a contrived situation it is really possible to be 'yourself' - umm with the exception of Jade.

LK - likes him.

Cameron seems a pretty normal, slightly reserved, sort of person to me. At least he doesn't blab on about toaster inventions etc. When he talks to you I imagine you would want to listen (as opposed to certain others....)

He probably hasn't opened up much yet, as he's in a house with a load of strangers. Perhaps he likes to get to know them first? Lots of people would be exactly the same. I think he'll slowly open up.

Masterful, thanks for that remininder of that early cameron moment (wish i had the audio clip for that). When i first heard that myself, i thought ' what the... ? '
Yes indeed, it seemed a guarded thing to do.

We all have our own beliefs, and i would hope that each of us would at least stand up and be proud of their beliefs -whatever they might be.
For cameron to say hes not religious but not a christian is truly odd. I mean, is he afraid to say 'hey, i'm religious and proud of my community'. That would have earnt him a lot of respect had he said that. But no, he claims appears to be guarded on the mattter, which is a shame.

Calrissian : Somewhat open minded on matters.

Mmmmm. He'd probably castigate me for saying this, but Cameron is very true to his star sign - Pisces. Looking back at previous posts, comments such as 'difficult to pigeonhole', 'most enigmatic' etc. would suggest that you've all noticed it too.

Tania's perception of him is interesting - she gave the impression (although she didn't say it in as many words) that she found him patronising.

Personally, I think he has held back for too long. Fellow HMs will soon become aware that he is conspicuously too difficult to get to know. Only a couple will bother making the effort to bond with him from hereon in. They are not aware as yet that they have already made that decision, but they have. For example, when the winning team were let into the secret room on Saturday, they were all saying how they wished that the other housemates were in there too, but the only one whose name wasn't mentioned was Cameron's.

If I were a betting woman (which I'm not) my money would be on him being up for eviction next week. As to whether he will actually be evicted, who can say. He may get the gay vote as well (especially if he comes out, but how would that sit with his faith?)

Ma Lady...

Dark side, well, not everyone
Yes, why would cameron go into the house. He lives in a lovely area of the UK, why risk getting his image tainted by the media ?

Re: game plan.
Hmm, he does show an inkling of having a game plan. He sits on the fence about issues, was even defensive about his personal beliefs.

RE: situation : indeed, the situation would make any sane person end up in tears, be paranoid, the house is an awful place to be.
-------------------

I just get the feeling he feels a bit smug right now, and that spilled over in the diary room incident recently. Just a hint of his game playing ability leaking out from his controlled persona.

Good luck to him, wonder how long he can keep this up.

re: tania.
As i had felt from the start, tania and cameron would be nominating eachother, -they are polar opposites.

the Gay vote ? Hmmm, maybe a few percent.

Re : cam coming out ? What !, no way, he is from a conservative background, quite the opposite. He'd die of shock if he became a gay icon !
Cameron's relationship history indeed remains a mystery (well, i've certainly heard nothing on it said).

Cameron : 4 Votes next week, but will the public boot him ?

there is something about cameron tht o cant put my finger on but i think deep down he is weird person. when he tried to cover his back about the discussion about fed that told me a lot. i also think he made an attempt to split the group with the winners and the losers on saturday but it did not work.
