JVC and the Red Dragon

HELP ....I have a JVC TH-A5 DVD player works good.But now I have just got a new disk ,Red Dragon and it won't play right.I mayy watch the movie but that is all,can't use the second disk menu,just goes back to the main menu and can't switch to dts .I have played it on another player and it works fine and also works fine on my computer,is this a software fault on my player,this is my first disc fault,no promblems with any other disc'sHELP
