network investigation
i got charged for grps usage when my phone was in for servicing, so naturally i refused to pay it. the operator said that was fine but they'd have to do a 'network investigation'.
what info will that reveal? i use the gprs by plugging my phone into my computer (usb). will the tech team be able to see all my bank details and emails?? i hope not as i've said i can't afford to pay the bill (and i can)! also...how embarrassing...i *might* have gone on youporn once or twice - will that show up too? cringe! |

When your phone goes for a service your suppossed to reatin the SIM card for this very reason. The will be able to see every site you vist and also the times, dates, frequency all everything.
It won't reveal your bank details as they would be encrypted and are not stored within their systems. Next time keep your SIM. |

Can I point out that if you are using GPRS, it is possible that whilst encrypted your details were sent over an insecure connection at some stage.
