Well nearly three months on and I have still not had a bill on my paperless billing. After several emails, unable to change my new bank details on online (or phone) and now my service has been restricted, a p**s take really. I have been unable to make payment as I do not know how much I owe, I spoke to a guy who called me from BT India asking how my service was, said crap, he said very good, I asked if I could set up some new direct debit details up, he didn't have a clue what I was talking about!! BT has really gone down the drain!

have you tried emailing the CEO as suggested in this thread?

Most people get a response pretty fast when they do this.

I have spent nearly three hours today trying to get through to somebody just to set up a direct debit.

I have a new GB account, which apparently doesn't work on their system. They're insisting that I'm a long term customer, when I am not.

I've spoken to 5 different people who cannot do it. What the hell is going on there? I'm not asking much - all I want to do is set up a simple monthly payment plan direct debit.

Extremely hacked off.

Read the thread!! I had exactly the same problem as you. Once I contacted the CEO it was sorted within half an hour with THEM ringing ME back.

You could try the automated service 0800-44 33 11. having said that I tried it a few days ago and it told me my line was not BT! Strange since I set it up with them and paid them in advance but the only bill I have had from them showed me to be £16.00 odd in credit. Certainly the HQ number can put you through but in my experience I just ended up in the queue despite an assurance I was being given priority. Hey ho.
