Bush DVD1005/A Multiregion?

As above really. I've tried the 33088 code for the DVD1005, but that didn't seem to do anything. We got it last year when it was £99 with the (unshielded!) speakers. Our cheap TV will never be quite the same! Anyway, there are a couple of things I want to buy that are Region 1, but some are rather expensive boxsets, and I want to make sure I can play R1 DVDs. Also, if anyone could recommend a cheap R1 dvd from some import tax exempt european supplier, I would be more than grateful.

BTW I did do a Google search before posting here, and looked on DVD Reviewer, but neither had anything relating to my model.
