its a JVC XV-N55.
it looks very sleek and smooth with the silver and blue finish.

the price here at here is about £5 more than here at dabs

i carnt be arsed getting it from dabs to save £5- i dont know much about the company anyway.
so i'll just pop down to my local comet and purchase the player, by the way, does anybody know if comet will match a cheaper price in store, hence i could show them the player is cheaper at dabs.

The pioneer 350 will play the discs you want. You can get it here in multi region form for £100.00.

I have the 454, the only diference between the 2 is that the 350 doesn't have an optical output and the 454 has. The picture and sound are amazing. Great value.

Cheers.

You can with a digital co-axial lead, assuming your amp has a co-ax input

The Pioneer 360S has just become available on Amazon see here . It would appear from Pioneer's website that this model does have an optical output, see here. I think the 360 must be a replacement for the 350. If the picture and sound are as good you can't go wrong and it's multi region. I would say however that if you have a Panasonic TV you might want to think again, I have seen some postings referring to compatability problems with Pioneer players and Panasonic TV's when using the RGB scart.

Hope this helps you in your choice.

I’ve just bought the Toshiba 330E and I have to say the picture quality is fantastic and I think it plays all the stuff your looking for and it also plays Microsoft format CD’s and it has a JPEG viewer.
