Laptop To Lcd Pc

I have a laptop and a blue video cable i want to put it through the lcd tv but the only connection i can see is a scart socket any ideas

Can you be a little more specific please? By blue video cable do you mean the type that connects a PC to a standard Monitor?
This will not connect to a SCART.
Does the Laptop have any other outputs? You will also need to know what type of input signals the TV supports. Check your TV's instruction manual there may be additional connectors under a flap on the front.

If you post Make/Model details for both Laptop and TV you will get more help and advice.
