how much stuff do you need?

your best bet would be to buy a mains powered HDMI switcher

for your ps3 and vision box. The new xbox 360 now have hdmi as well so thats your best bet

you need to find out what scarts are RGB and put your sky+ to that one OR your dvd recorder. You need to find out if your dvd recorder supports RGB input and you could daisylink the sky through dvd recorder

through away your lesser freeview box, old xbox and see if theres a hack available for the dvd recorder or keep using scart switching box on av2 as i reckon only av1 on your tv supports RGB but post your tv model number and dvd recorder as well

I am disabled stuck at home mostly so the more stuff the merrier.

Tv you are correct only scart 1 is RGB. DVd R is a Panasonic dmr E50 I think. Have never found a Panasonic hack when trying before. Any good sites?

Did not say my multi region DVD actually has upscaling to HDMI output(Forgot that)
Lesser Freeview not very old, and I do use it to catch a few overlapping progs. Happy using that on scart 2 with auto switchbox if needed.

Xbox, mmm. Not sure. Very tempting the 360 Elite. Will speak to shop when I do my PS3 deal.

Hdmi mains switcher. Very expensive last time I looked. Any recommendations? as I am sure it is the way to go.

Could not see the wood for the trees earlier.
