I bought myself the new Samsung D900i phone (in pink, from O2
) this week, and today I managed to get it unlocked so I could use my T-Mobile contract sim card in it.
I've since found that I can't get the keypad tones to work (they're constantly on silent), and also when a message is sent, a change is made to the phone, etc.. it's also silent, whereas my previous phone (the D900) obviously always made a sound, unless the phone was set to silent mode. Anyone know what might be the problem?
In the Phone Settings menu, Advanced Shortcuts isn't available to use. Also, in Sound Settings, the Keypad Tones menu isn't available either - I'm guessing this may be the problem? The options are there, but they're a dull grey colour, hence I can't use them at all
Apart from this, the phone is fine. I bought it brand new from the O2 shop online, so I don't think it's a fault with the phone.. I'm just wondering if there's something I can do to change the sound problems?
Thanks in advance

It's so annoying, lol. It's not the keypad tone so much, but it's annoying how I can't tell when a message is sent or anything
