Yep for the price it looks like a good option.
Having seperates is way better & upgradable. |

Yamaha AV61 is a good entry system and can be upgraded.

I upgrade my system a few weeks ago to a Yamaha RX-V361 amp (looks very much like the one in the pic) running a full set of Gale speakers and a Monitor ASW sub. I have to be honest the sound is awsome
I did have a few issues with the optical connection, but I have narrowed this down to poor quality broadcast on some programs from my Sky HD box

do you know what, I forked out for one of the DAVS series of Sony home cinema systems a couple of years back, all very nice and stylish, does the job quite well.
I then wanted a cheap 5.1 speaker system for my conservatory. I bought a logitech system initially as I had a play station in there which I was also using as a dvd player. This £50 or so system is as good if not better than my sony system. Think on. |

Great All In one 5.1 system
Hi, I have a goodmans (See skTHEcat thread) Busted 5.1!
I paid less than £100 for this all in one and it was absolutely fantastic, 200 watts RMS DVDR All In and loads of connections except optical ans HDMI. I wish I could repair it but 3 saturdays I was getting ready to DVD a Speedway GP and could not open the drawer! I had had a few Stella's and lost my temper after about ten minutes! and busted the drawer whilst trying to open it! hence my other posts becsuse all the other all in ones I have seen are £300+ anyway see my other post to get the model number, if you can find one (I got mine from Bid-TV!) Regards sk THE cat
