So okay i know i am jumping the gun here a bit, but looking at this years BB, what do you want the producers to do differently next year to improve it!

And please make your suggestions realistic .

I want a bloody pig to go next to the chicken coup.. and on Sundays or Friday's for eviction, they must let it out from anytime before 12, to midnight.. then it must go back in its own coup..

I read your post initially and was left thinking... I still am.

I'm probably waiting to see how it pans out in the longer term and to see if anything does ignite. If not, I bet your post will become a hotbed of action at a later date.

BB5 needs

A better mix of HMs - age/background etc

Far harder weekly tasks - and more realistic tasks too

Rigid enforcement of rules

A less juvenile and tacky approach to everything

That do ya lala

...I'm still thinking. How do the producers along with the audience work to save BB from becoming too formulaic?

At least you didn't waste 1/2 hour making a pro jon zero-wing pastiche.

BB5 needs hard drugs. Said it before. Will say it again.

* bigger spread of ages. (was Cameron the oldest this year at a spirtely 32..? They are all in the same generation)

* bigger prize money (70k is a lot to anyone but I think it's possible to give up, I doubt anyone would give say 500k to charity. That type of money would be more of a motivator. i think people go in for the exposure, to get famous or for the experience, the 70k is secondary. More money at stake, I think people would be more likely to 'play the game'

* Davina and Dermot to swap roles ( i doubt Davina would stay though)

* E4 viewers can see nominations as they happen

* full screen live feeds on interactive

* get to see/hear Hms when they are in the diary room

erm...will probably think of more

I'm not, I'm a jon supporter!!

I'm just realistic.

PS. My Jon campaign was so geeky I don't even think Jon himself would've got it.

All housemates sign a disclaimer giving Endemol/C4/E4 immunity from prosecution under any libel/slander laws. They can say what they like and will be responsible for it later. No bird song - just all the action as it happens.

I don't think that's how it works. The housemates can't sign away the right for *other* people to sue Endemol/C4 ie.the people the HMs might talk about.

Would be nice though.

I agree with what MGOM says here, lala.

I really believe it is as simple and straightforward as MGOM has put it.
And less hyping up of non-events.

How about a eurovision style Nomination scoring system where he house mate scores the rest 1-11 in wk 1- 1-10 in wk2 etc and the 2 or 3 housemates with the most points going. This may help get rid of some the fence sitting housemates who are difficult to get out to the last couple of weeks.

They should maybe knock the house down and rebuild it again just in case BB are papering over any cracks...

...Oh no, they only did that a couple of years ago.

Anyone caught "stirring" by talking about nominations for, say, the third time running is automatically put up for the public vote.

I've been around here a while and there aren't many. If you check back to the beginning of BB4 you may have found a few quiet supporters somewhere but by and large they're all buried now.

They should up the prize to 1 million. That's the only way your going to get the UK version to "play the game" What's the point in winning 70K, when you can sell your story for more afterwards? It's nothing more then a populairty contest here

I would like to see less team tasks and more competitive ones that have an overall winner. Those that win could escape nomination that week while all the rest would automatically but put up for eviction. That would bring out some interesting characteristics in the Hms. Would Fed actually work to win a challenge or would he try and sabotage the other HMs efforts?
I would also like to see a wider mix of personalities with the HMs. They did well this year in picking Jon but the rest are so bland. It would probably be considered in bad taste but can you imagine the fun there would be in the house if they were on a limited budget with a bulimic in the house? Or how about someone with an obsessive compulsive disorder? How about simply some other housemates with particular skills or interests? Jon seems to be the only one with interests and the others moan about how boring he is. Take Justine moaning about how he actually read books but only a little while before she had admitted she rarely read a book. Lets stop with the airhead wannabee HMs and get some in with some substance to them.

What BB5 needs is a bar with unlimited supply of alcohol and 12 psycopathic prostitutes (of both sexes)

Sex, arguments and drunks, what else do you need?
