No 'first impressions' nominations. Lost a good potential HM that way. Positive voting. ie you vote for the one you want to stay in, and the least votes gets evicted. That way the more interesting and controversial characters stay in.
Instead of a weekly task, give them all a proper 9-5 job mondays to fridays. doesnt have to be productive, but has to have a measurable end result. Their food budget will depend on how successfull a week they had.
More surprises, get someone famous in the entertain them, (no talking of course) if they win the saturday task.

How about simply some other housemates with particular skills or interests? Jon seems to be the only one with interests and the others moan about how boring he is. Take Justine moaning about how he actually read books but only a little while before she had admitted she rarely read a book. Lets stop with the airhead wannabee HMs and get some in with some substance to them. ”

I think that even the biggest Jon supporters would agree that the way he is is only interesting as an anomalous case... put 6 or 7 people in the house that are 'geeky' and the public would HATE it...

What BB5 needs is a bar with unlimited supply of alcohol and 12 psycopathic prostitutes (of both sexes)

Sex, arguments and drunks, what else do you need?

- Increase prize money to 1 million pounds
- Allow nominations to be discussed openly
- Include alcoholic beverages in the "staples"
- Ensure the housemates bet at least 50% of their money on the weekly task
- Try to ensure weekly tasks result in 24 hr round the clock action
- Place more emphasis on the Saturday night live task. Outcome - only one individual winner who is allowed to choose another HM's to share the luxury he/she is afforded.

If they did increase to £1million, then they might aswell go on who wants to be a millionaire

But, £1million would be brilliant for Big Brother, if this was to happen they should atleast extend the series from

May 23rd/30th - August 23rd/30th.

3 Monthes... woooo ,

The first week(may) would go without an eviction.

Then we'll have 4 exit in June, 4 exit in July, and then go on from their with 4 left for the finale at the end of august. This will give the public a hell of enough time to decide the winner..

Maybe they should ad 2 or 3 more housemates to balance it.

So people with interests or people who read are geeky? And all this time I thought that I was just a nerd.

no, I think this could have potential.
12 geeks all theorising and trying to invent useless crap you can only get from an Innovations catalogue. All trying to control the tasks and the food. Might be too much StarWars talk though.
Cult TV conversations could be banned, with punishments for breaking the rule.

I would like to see
a wider age range next year,
people with personalities but no wannabes
better and bigger live feeds
let the HMs discuss nominations
give us live viewings of the diary room during noms and times of crises
keep the tasks

How about for a start getting a panel of the public to select the housemates in the first place instead of the up their own arses media luvvies who currently do it (have you even heard one of the self-important 'researchers' talking ... you'd think they were brain surgeons)

It's obvious from this series that C4 / Endemol do not have any idea as to what is an interesting mix of people. I loathed many of the contestants in previous years but they were interesting nonetheless .....

Cut out smoking as well - if they cant cope without fags for 9 weeks or so - dont apply. Its unfair on the non smokers to have to sit about in their smoke all day

Also first time someone says 'this is so unfair I'n thinking of leaving' - chuck them out straight away. they all know what to expect when they come in and to say that is unfair on the thousands who really wanted to get on the show and didnt. Sunita last year walking out after a few days made me soooooooooo mad. Or to stop housemates walking out early how about they stump up a £1000 bond that goes to charity if they bottle it

And let's have more of the Big Brother hardship. It's just too cosy ...... scrap the garden and the pool - concrete it over. Make them suffer more.

Rock breaking and mailbag sewing.
And no singing, except for 'Bob The Builder'.

BB5

Better age range.

Housemates are assigned household tasks every week by big brother, which will et everyone doing somthing.

Harder tasks.

Anyone that is up for eviction and does not get evicted cannot be nominated next week.

Enforce the f******g rules.... Sigh.

Make most of the Sat night tasks by getting the hms to choose people over others if they win the tasks, and throw in some more curve balls to piss them off.

The essence of this is that BB5 should be more 'nasty'. We like to see others suffer, especially people that we don't like and thats what BB is all about.

Seriously, who gives a shit what the housemates do when they come out of the house, we only care while the program is on, and it should live up to the title, entertainment game show, coz thats what it is...

Make it more like The Adventure Game. They get evicted by vortex.

send in a dalek - spin it round and let it randomly exterminate someone before exploding leaving green goo everywhere (not to be confused with Gos's gargantuan stomach)
