Another word for Sissy: HONEST

A lot voted to keep Jon in because he is such a boring, superior feeling ass that we knew it would cause tension in the house. Sissy is only pleading that they have had enough punishment from us.

Let's be kind and recognise that those who know him better than we do, the housemates, are pleading "Vote the weirdo out, PLEASE. We've had enough"

if she said it infront of other housemates then shouldnt she have a strike for in a way influencing nominations? or is it just me? ”

I agree. It is completely out of order and she should receive a strike for that.

What the hell has she done to deserve getting booed?! Jokingly (And I like the way the context is only mentioned here after half the board have ripped into her) suggested that Jon should go? Been loud when drunk? (Unlike anyone else in the house, of course). Been upset that, after a week of being half starved, she doesn't even get a chance to get into the reward room? She's only human, and the fact that she can't just control her emotions to ingratiate herself makes her more so than most of the other housemates.

I just wonder what people have got against red heads.......? Tim of course didn't help the cause at all last year Some of the most beautiful people I've seen are red heads and that includes my daughter!

I could get a bit deeper but I'm not the sort of person who likes to ignight a flame war.........

and thats your opinion because your a sissy fan obviously

this is not my opinion because i am a jon fan i would be saying the same thing had it been anyone else

she is entitled to her opinion but she does nothave to tell the public to vote anyone out, especially when that person has done nothing to her

Er yes, she did. That's why you feel she broke the rules. She said it infront of all the housemates and Jon.

Don't worry. The logic of an argument defeats us all sometimes

I'm a Jon fan! I spent money last week keeping him in the house, and he's one of only three HMs I give a crap about (Fed being the other), but as practically Sissy's only supporter on the board, I'm more vocal about that. Hundreds of "Jon fans" on this board agree with me that most of the HMs are totally dull, but rail on Sissy for being herself, and being far more human than the rest of the insipid morons (Jon and Fed excluded) in the house. That's bad enough, but suggesting she deserves to be booed is totally callous.

Boring, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I'd far rather sit and talk to Jon about the physics of teh universe than to Tania about the various D-list celebs she's sucked face.

He has never been superior to the other housemates. He put himself forward in the Foodgate crisis, which was in turn detrimental to him, as he thought his skills from work would give him a role much the same as Gos has taken the cooking role on, no doubt if there was a creative, fashion task Sissy would come to the fore and if the task were 'make miserable faces' Nush would excel. As it was Jon's skills weren't right for the situation or people involved, he was totally misguided and paid the price but he didn't take on that role to be superior or belittle people, it was done with genuine intent of helping.

The only reason he appears superior is because the other HMs own inferiority about their own lack of intelligence is highlighting the fact Jon is a reasonably (academically) intelligent person. they daren't talk to him for fearer of looking dumb(er). He never starts conversations to make people look stupid nor does he ridicule people for something they don't know, quite the contrary.

If Jon really wanted to be superior and make them feel dumb it would be easy to do, in fact I think Parsely the chicken could take a good few of them on and come out the better.

What Jon has in academic based skills he lacks in social skills and the others are the opposite way round. He probably envies their ease in sociability as much as they envy the fact he has other qualities but instead of taking this opportunity to learn from each others differences too many of these hms take to the defensive and ridicule what is different to them.

I am impartial when it comes to race, colour, creed, class, gender etc.

Except when it comes to sissy. I'm going to be labelled a snob but I don't care! She is common. She is rough, ill mannered and coarse.

Get her out.

Actually, she's said good things about Jon before, and gets on with him better than a lot of the others. If you read the earlier posts, you'll see that her plea to get Jon out was actually a joke, and not as malicious as everyone here's assuming without thinking.

But what are we meant to do when the HM in question IS being herself,.......and it is revealed that she is just plain nasty?

Do we reward that?

Or do we reward HMs who when they are being themself,...we think,..."Yeah,..she's an okay girl,...like her a lot"?

I think there's a difference to me.

There is, but is having a bit of a sulk and posessing a loud voice being nasty? People just don't like her because she irritates them, and the merest hint of a possibility that she isn't as big a Jon fan as you lot is like a red rag to a load of bulls.

Very good post Rennie,..I like the way you put it.

Yes, although Jon is aware that he is slightly lacking in the social skills department,.....he really does try to get involved with his fellow housemates, and he tries to be sociable with them.

But as for the majority of this f*cking shallow, judgemental shower,...they do not try in any way to get on with and understand Jon.

He forgives them for their failings, and continues to make an effort to get on with them,......but they do not forgive him for anything.
They mercilessly exploit him.

I have no problem at all with her having a loud voice.
It's more to do with what the voice is actually saying.

I just think she is nasty as a person.

And she tried to con us.

(It wouldn't matter which HM it was directed towards,..my opinion would be pretty much the same)
