Well, they can't guarantee the nominations of course but best guess at the moment would be Jon v Frederico and I think they're preparing for that. I don't know which of those will be favoured but it wouldn't surprise me if the 'spin' is for those two out in either order over the next two weeks. ”

If those 2 go over the next fortnight an already poor BB will plummet to new depths of shittyness. If they go I'll stop watching because they're the only 2 interesting characters in the house in my humble opinion.

This is nonsense... The point is, the public should be made aware of things like this. I didn't think she was wrong to do it because it might influence people, I thought she was wrong to do it because she singled him out over Scott and Gos who had been in the room twice, and it clearly showed who she had a bit of a problem with. ”

But she wasn't singling him out just for winning the challenge twice but also for winning the public vote twice, no one else has done this, Gos and Scott hadn't.
Trying to influence the public last night was wrong, showing the public again tonight would have been even more wrong.
I suspect it will be referred to on a highlight show but without showing the incident or mentioning the substance of her public plea.

I never thought of the mirrors I'm pretty sure Gos was sitting on his ample ass at the time so I'm still not 100% sure that she could see him. It's a possibility though.

Not at all... The public need to see moments like this and make up their own mind. As for Jon being up twice, surely that should allow him a little bit of sympathy and more reason for him to be in the secret room than Gos. She didn't see it like that though... She saw him as being lucky.

Her outburst on Friday night was what I was more outraged about them not showing.

More importantly where was Feds camp fighting (or even Jon winning the fighting game)

We havent seen any of Fed and Scotts winning act on talent evening

And funniily enough none of the housemates enjoying Feds reprise of Avids sh*t take-off

Do they want Channel4 viewers to beleive this is most boring BB ever?

No they don't want the boring label but perhaps BB so badly want Fed out that they are refusing to show his best bits which are also the house's most entertaining moments. They have missed out on presenting BB4 as a more exciting show, cutting their nose to spite their face.Or theyre just incompetant idiots.

Bodders - "I don't know which of those will be favoured but it wouldn't surprise me if the 'spin' is for those two out in either order over the next two weeks."

From tonights show, i would have said Fed is the one this week, but with row today over the task etc, the may well see this week as a chance to get Jon out now. But they are certainly setting one of these two up for a fall this week, hopefully the nominations will screw them up and pop same more names in the hat.

I looked at the tape again, gos is sitting, and it's hard to tell if she could see him from the camera angle. She may have, but you could not say yes for sure.

At the moment I agree but I can't see either of them going the distance - there's too much 'anti-Fed' from the tasks and 'anti-Jon' feeling that when they're up against one of the slightly more popular housemates they'll go.

Given that, hopefully some of the others will become more interesting for us E4 watchers. Putting my cynical hat back on, as far as the editing goes, the highlights shows are short enough that anyone can be shown to have a bit of character when they need to. This just has to be done for those up for nomination to generate more revenue for votes.

Yeah I agree with you 100%! They need new producers, this BB series has been crap and channel 4 editting is partly to blame! Sort it out!

It should be obvious to all on here that they are going to portray the girls as angels in the event of another one being up.

It would do Sissy's chances no good if she was nominated on Tuesday with her post eviction rant still fresh in peoples minds rom tonight.

To think people on here turn there nose up at HoH and giving all the power to the hm. The only explanation i can think of is you must still be under the illusion that you decide.

That explains why BB wasn't shown on CH4 live last night after the 9 o'clock show and also why it's not on again tonight.

I'll watch paint dry, me!

I don't believe this.

From what you lot are saying,..they could have shown the best show of this series so far.

Oh yeah, the psychologist tells us he's going to explore the hidden depths of Fed's personality.
So he gives us psychology for kids,....----"You see how Fed does not tell the other HMs that he failed the tasks?.....Well that means he's not telling the whole truth" ---- Oh For f*cks sake, Really?...No kidding?...You don't say.
Total shit.

Actually from what I am reading about what Fed actually did last night,....methinks they are setting Fed up for a fall.
Another major character bites the dust.

Are they trying to edit the most boring show that they possibly can?

What's going on?.....This is getting bloody ridiculous now.

Who is the complete arsehead in charge of the show now?...He must be absolutely mental.
They're killing the show right in front of our eyes.

Why is it so outrageous for Sissy to ask the public to vote Jon out? The outrageous thing is she said it in front of Ray and Steph. Asking the public to vote Jon out is PERFECTLY admissable in the rules I would think, but not asking other housemates to.

As for all these conspiracy theories about who they want out... blah blah blah. Every week people think that different people are being favoured. Perhaps, just perhaps, one episode is good for Fed, then another is good for Steph, then another is good for Sissy.... WHATEVER. Perhaps they try and edit it as FAIRLY as they POSSIBLY can... It's impossible to please you lot.

They've also shown her quite funny Tina Turner impression too - which balances it out. One made her look good, one made her look bad. Justine had APPALLING editing in week 1 - nothing good that she did was shown... on week 2 she had fairly favourable editing. So on the whole it all evened itself out.

I fear you are right - This show was definitely anti-Fed. The psychobollox bit was truly insulting to poor old Froggle-face, claiming that the BB House was the mirror of the soul (or some such claptrap) and revealed our true self. They then went on to prove what a loser-person Fed was, in quite an unprofessional, quasi-slanderous way. Fed might have failed some piddly BB tasks, but a psychologist shouldn't then construe that his true character (loser) is unveiled. Way weird!
LIke others I hoped to see some balance - Fed's hilarious camp-warrior, which has been the only bit of this drivelly BB where I howled with laughter. If Fed is evicted - which for some reason BB seems to want - the show will fade further. There will be little left to watch. I don't think C4 is anti-Jon (the opposite in fact), but I think their hype has raised too much expectation over Jon, and if he has a few 'normal ' days, he will be dumped swiftish. As for Fed, maybe they hope to build him into such an evil panto-character he is voted out MASSIVELY (money ....). I can take the point that these HMs put themselves in the limelight and should take the blows, but it is still pretty gross to see a corporation exploiting people's characters with hugely unbalanced editing just so that they can make shitloads.

On a tangent:-
Going back to Justine's eviction interview, I thought it was more noticeable than ever, the extent to which Davina is used to put across C4's 'version of events'. For example, in going through the HMs with Justine, more than normal I felt she was telling us what to think. Gos, for example, "We love Gos," - do we? who are we? Nush - she pulled the 'sad' face; Justine corrected her. Now it is true that Nush often is miserable - but is it Davina's job to influence viewers in this way? Let them decide for themselves. On Jon, the fact he's a legend, blah-di-blah, was reiterated (as it is constantly on BBLB), which may or may not be true - but she shouldn't be telling the public what to think. Something she did about Anouska, to Anouska's detriment on Day One.
To me, this signifies that the programme is in real trouble and producers need to shape opinions even more than usual, because viewers aren't bothering/able (HMs possibly too dull etc) to do so for themselves. It's classic damage-control and Davina is the most potent weapon in the BB arsenal.

But surely, surely, SURELY this is something that's been done from series 1? Davina and the rest have always offered opinions on the HMs. Why is this year any different?

I don't think it's different that they are DOING it - it just seems more 'spoon-fed' than normal; more telling than guiding, so to speak. Davina appeared to me more opinionated than usual; more statement than leading question.

I think so too.

I also noticed her putting words in our mouths about why we support Jon.
My reasons are varied,...Davina assumes that she speaks for us all.

I think it would be better if Davina took a more neutral role.

I utterly agree with that.

The strangest bit was the Jon thing. You'd think Davina would be trying to console the evictee a bit, but rather than do that she seemed to be rubbing it in... 'We love Jon - he's so much more popular than you'... She failed to mention the fact that 43% of the public had actually voted Jon OUT of the house - and that he was the 2nd person in the running for the eviction on Week 1...

I loved the fact that Justine corrected Davina on the Nush thing, but the worrying thing is that Davina's influence must be incredibly powerful, because by the end of the interview Justine had it in her head that Nush would be nominated next week!!
