No performing seals this year?
Diva

So who do you think the BB Oscar for desperation should go to so far?

Last year we had so many 'all singing, all dancing' wannabe's we were spoiled for choice, but for me this lot just aren't as entertaining in that cringeworthy 'yeah-you-know-you're-on-camera' kind of way, so far it's a two way battle between Sissy and Tania for drama queen of the year (but Nush's fast catching up), but even so they just don't seem to be making the effort

Do you reckon they're avoiding all that one-legged dancing crap and so forth 'coz of the idiots last year - or perhaps they're just too weak from lack of food n' booze???

There was that hideous "cabaret" show they put on of their own accord. Most of the HM's seem to be clued up about what people dislike - Butlin's Redcoat impressions, bitching etc.so are being extra careful.

There are also long tasks this year, while they may be crap they are being kept busy, so less bouts of long boredom like last year. I hope that cabaret was a one-off and we don't have to endure anymore Panto auditions from them.

I think this years HM's were chosen because they are not the all-singing, all-dancing types.

The producers probably gambled that viewers didn't want more of the same (more Kates, Alisons, Jonnys).

I'm starting to feel a little fed up with the show. For the first couple of weeks I was glad to not be watching one long showbiz audition and hoped the current HM's would become interesting viewing. I'm getting bored waiting though

JUSTINE...... the Performing Arts 'graduate'

The first week she was pretty quiet. The second week IMHO she was 'performing for her life'. For some reason BB chose not to show it all.... TG! I noticed some stuff shown subsequent to her eviction that I hadn't seen before. Perhaps they were 'wise' to her motives, or didn't chose to collude with her or be seen to try and influence the result.....

Thank goodness she's out ..... before she really got fully started on the audition!

Cameron likes his singing

Fed thinks he is a comedian/impressionist

Sissy's dancing looks familiar, especially when she's had a few.

I'll stop there.... but they are definitely 'singers', 'dancers', comedians' and 'actors' in there.....

As you can see this is my first post. I have been lurking here for three years!! (OK so I procrastinate a fair amount..)

This lot are not performing seals, and I say "Thank god!!!" The cabaret was just a lark. No biggie. The performing seals from BB3 were so overt that they were impossible to miss. BB3's contestants were constantly "on" and over the top, this group is far more subtle.

While there is an indication they may have weekly entertainment among themselves, BFD. They get bored. They all seem to like music and so why not sing some songs together.

Comparing the over the top characters of last year to this lot is like comparing chalk and cheese: They are totally and completeley different.

Has anyone in BB4 bought a guitar into the house a la Anna and Dean? Thus continuing the BB cliche of someone sat on the sofa wistfully playing a tune after they've been nominated?

I think this batch of housemates knows full well the scorn and ridicule the wanabe performing seals got last year from all the papers etc. And the producers (unsurprisingly) don't seem to want it to go down that route - they've hardly shown any of the 'cabaret' .

If Cameron is trying to get a Thursday night show going (why? ) the others may be wary.

What is it with Cameron? Hasn't he seen the show before?

That's a shame. I was hoping that someone might bring in a cello.
