psychotic housemates

Every year we have had 1 slightly unstable Psychopath sneak in through the auditions( Nick, Penny and Sandy)
But this year takes the biscuit, where did the producers go to find the girls. Broadmoor
After 2 weeks of BB4 only Anouska can be said to have been stable(ish)

Justine came across at times as having a split personalty.
Nush and Sissy are clearly emotionally unstable, and Nush in particular looks like she is away to slit her wrists.
Tania lacks the most important item in a person (common sense) the classic quote of hers" they have cameras everywhere" after trying to steal from the party room sum her up completly.
And as for Steph The FM on here are spot on, The references to Goldfish and seven second memory span are spot on.

The girls are so bad they make the worlds worst crop of Boys look like world beaters. (Except the J man of course he is pure class)

Agree.

Justine is borderline bunny boiler... Hating King Jon cos he kind-of, sort-of looks like someone she disliked a year ago...

Sissy is just a brat - witness the reaction when she didn't get into the party room.

Tania and Nush are empty vessels, but moderately good looking, so they'll do ok, as long as they keep wearing bikinis.

Steph is the biggest disasapointment. Initially thought she was clever, and would turn into the house "mum"... but she's actually log-like.

If the boys have a bit of tactical nouse they can vote the girls out - pick the weakest two - probably Sissy and Steph - and block-vote them up for eviction, with probably Sissy to go.

I hope another womoan gets evicted next week - if for no other reason than to watch the paranoia of the dwindling females go into overdrive!

I do indeed wonder about the selection process. Sometimes I think C4 are being deliberately irresponsible.

Psychotic housemates?

Nick: Definitely dysfunctional. Very strange attitude to other people.

Penny: No way is Penny psychotic. A rather gentle, eccentric person who tried to contribute to the house with her well-intentioned scattiness. Basically far too sensitive to be in the BB environment.

Sandy: Not psychotic. Just misanthropic.

JADE: What were they thinking of? She's totally unhousetrained/
desocialised.

Justine: She's got some issues. Give her some tissues.

Sissy: Murdered father. Overly emotional. Is this experience doing her any good?

So any chance of Jon smashing his way through a door holding an axe and screaming 'heeeeeres Jonnnnnnnnyyyyy'.

As a mental health professional, I feel I should point out that psychotic has a very precise meaning in psychiatric diagnostic terms, and none of the HMs would fit the bill.

Nick was just your average, tw*tty public school boy

I ADORED Penny from BB2. She was just a bit ill-at-ease in the house, mainly because of that bastard Stuart.

Sandy was just a grumpy git - LOVED him too, for the curmudgeonly gripes with Alex round the swimming pool.

Sissy is the only one who displays the manipulative behaviour that could be suggestive of a personality disorder. However, I believe the psychological screening is pretty thorough (thanks to Jon's email!)

Listen, i have in my job worked in Cornhill and the old Kingseat hospitals which were Grampians Mental Health institutions. I also worked with a guy who was put in Hospital with mental illness, people in these hospitals don't show any of the form of hysteria and paranoia that is shown by the girl housemates. (ok the really sick ones are locked up but your average mental health client is not on cloud cukoo land all the time.( but if you really work in the field you would know this already).

The use of the word Pyschotic was used in the slang varation which people can understand the point clearer.
but then i'm not the one surfing the threads looking for someone to argue with am i

Still doesn't explain why someone like Jade could get in there.
Not psychotic or disturbed, but clearly not suitable for that environment.

Hysterical over nothing, manipulative (the baby voice) etc.

thought i'd clarify my Position on the previous housemates.

Nick, The wife dying story, the constant lies (Rember the assault course and Toms reaction about the TA's), Denial even after dareen and craig showed him the evidence he still denied ant wrong doing.

Penny, maybe psychotic would be a strong word but she certainly suffered from low self esteam , almost to an dangerous level. Any one who remembers how manic she was on BBLB when she came out will Know what i mean.

Sandy, He went in their with a goal, Not to win but escape, even if he isn't pyschotic( although i have my doubts about any one entering the BB house just to try and escape after a fortnight) the Psycologists etc should have picked this up earlier what his true motive was.

I do worry about the girls though.they have been in the house only for 2 weeks and the tears are flowing like rivers. and i think seriously that the Psycologists must have misgivings about a few of them.
I am now an offshore worker who is used to being a way from my family for weeks at a time with little contact with them. I cannot understand where the tears are coming from especially as we are told the Psycologists go for the ones who are supposed to be strong mentally

Calm down!

I wasn't trying to argue with anybody, merely making an observation. The slang use of psychotic is - IMO - damaging to those people who do have psychosis, as it suggests instability, dangerousness, nastiness &c &c.

Heavens!! Insinuating a person is a liar is a sure way of starting an argument, btw. Which sort of invalidates the last sentence of your post.

sorry four eyes but i was offended. you led of with "i am a mental health professional" remark, as you should know this a clear "i know better than you "negative comment, if i made you out to be liar it was on the basis that i felt anyone working in mental health should know how to respond to people in their field and would never start a conversation with a negative point, when there was more positive points later in the post.

Sorry if i have offended you in return, It does look silly later on when you've calmed down but i was offended at the time
