Why didn't he get through

He can sing , is cute , (gorge face and smile so cute ) happy persona

his voice is the only one to get me on the edge of my seat

Simon said he should have sung ...raining men ....
Simple simon ,Leon has too too much talent to threaten his invitees who never had to audition in the early rounds.. Paris for one .. she surely didn't have to re audition again in the rounds

lI would buy Leon singing on an album
album more than Leonas

Simon you know some things but Leon up to now is the only one who got me interested and you dissed him !!

Hello Zip. I loved him. He reminded me a little of Shaun from last year facially and in his mannerisms and nerves. He didnt need the sob story at all as I felt he had a wonderful voice. Hope to see more of him though only three from each group gets through to the live shows this year. He was far better than the much publicised soldier and any other male I have seen so far.

Looks that way - though knowing our luck he wont make it past bootcamp and we will end up with the over-rated soldier and his 'story'.
I loved the whole 'tone' of his voice too. I am worried that he will be ditched though in favour of some of the more 'obvious' singers with the 'storyline' that this series tends to go for.

Lovely voice, pretty cute, and knows he can sing but not cocky. A winning combination.

Good strong voice, look forward to hearing more from him. Such a nice young lad too, hope he always stays so grounded. Not a lot of great vocals in the solos but theres a few in the groups that have great harmonies that I like.

Couldn't agree more. Sadly. I really hope that the soldier doesn't actually get far. It's all story (and I am not unsympathetic to the soldiers in Iraq....far from it) and not much else.

However, with Leon - what I would say is drop any sob story, 'cause it just won't wash. I know it's hard on the X Factor, but it would be great to just have a merit-based system...for once!

I think the OP is referring to a different Leon, the one who was in the west end musical called 'Jerry springer the opera', He sang a Stevie Wonder song in the audition and Simon said he should have sung 'it's raining men'.He didn't get through to bootcamp,

I don't think this thread is referring to the lovely Scottish lad, at least that's what I have understood anyway.
