He is through to the top 6 but not necessarily the final, so the strong rumours could still be true.

Really pleased for him. Next week will be the real test though.It is a very strong group he is in. I have a feeling one of the 14 year olds will definitely get through.
I'd say it will be Leon, Andy and one of the non-white guys, possibly the East-Asian-looking one. That is unless they think Leon and Andy are too similar and only put one of them through, which I think would be a mistake.
I think it will be those two defo! And either the chinese one (im sorry to refer to someone by race - i hate that, but i really dont know his name) or Dominic

I think that the black lad, Dominick is 15, but I agree that they might put one of the young ones through to justify opening the competition up to a younger age group. If this is the case I just hope it's Dominic and not Luke.
It's difficult to tell a about the other ones though as they are all pretty good, I think I would go for Andy and Leon, but so saying that I haven't really heard the Asian looking guy sing that much.
I just hope that next week during the judges home visit that they let us hear the contestants sing and cut out all the back stories.

Count me in as a Leon supporter. 
There is something incredibly appealing about him - and there is a totally melting tone to his voice. I was almost a puddle on the floor when he sang "Home".
Just keeping everything crossed that he does get through to the live shows.
Have to warn you all though - it's with a sense of trepidation that I join you. I'm notorious for not backing a winner.

Dont feel too bad. I had the noble distinction of backing the MacDonald Brothers last year despite ridicule from a great many people on here.I dont believe Leon will receive the sort of criticism that the MacDonald Brothers got last year if he gets through. All my fingers and toes are crossed for him.

Like youself i was a bi fan of the mac bro's, and i voted probaly to spite simon cowell.the most tbh.But i am hoping alot that leon gets through.

I think Leon will fare far better with Simon than the MacDonald Brothers if he gets through. Simon likes his voice and was also partly responsible for Leon getting to the Final 6 in his Group.

lol...can't be as bad as me, surely, eight series of BB and five series of CBB, two series of Pop Idol, three series of X Factor and not once have I backed a winner....
I hope Leon can change all that though...

The only winner I have ever backed has been Shayne Ward. I dont have much luck otherwise. I was overjoyed that the MacDonald Brothers got as far as they did considering the criticism from Simon Cowell and others.

The X Factor 2 was my favorite series, because I liked all three finalists.....just preferred the other two acts to Shayne!

That was a great Final. Hated last years Final. No suspense or tension at all. The winner was such a foregone conclusion .

I know, I never even watched the final last year....first time I ever missed a live show!
The final 4 from X Factor 2 were just so damn talented...I doubt any year can top it, tbh.
This year I feel a lot of my enjoyment is going to depend on how far Leon progresses......so I'm pinning a lot of my hopes on him.

I hope he doesnt let me down. I love the tone of his voice and his whole personality. I watched an interview with him on the Official Site and he was really enthusiastic about the whole thing and delighted with the reception he received from the audition in front of the judges. All who know him state how lovely he is and the fact that he only started singing karaoke once a week in his pub when he turned 18 near the start of the year is another plus to me. He is the sort of person this show is all about celebrating.
