Twenty Twenty World Cup Cricket Highlights

Does any one know if they will be on the Beeb or Five?

I may be wrong, but unfortunately I think Sky Sports may be showing the live matches and the highlights.

The Radio Times website has nothing to do with the Twenty20 World Cup listed on the beeb or on five, only on Sky Sports.

Good, at least we'll get proper coverage of it then.

I'd guess most people who have any interest in Cricket would have Sky.

No. Some of us won't go the Murdoch route whatever he snaps up!

I agree with the previous poster, seeing England win the Ashes on the BBC boosted our cricket club junior section no end. With coverage largely confined to Sky, that cannot happen and the game will suffer. Football (yuk!) doesn't need TV to remind people of its existence, it's so easy it happens everywhere. Cricket and other more subtle sports need to be seen on TV. Incidentally, I have not noticed any share of the Sky millions arriving at our club from the ECB!

Sorry, rant over!

It's a fair cop guvnor!

The point for cricket's future though is that C4 is also free-to-air terrestrial.

Are Sky actually having a highlights show or just showing the live matches? I hope they do have highlights because a lot of matches are during work hours.

Funny......I watch more cricket now, than I've ever done. Very much excited about 20twenty, that's my kind of cricket.

As for becoming a minority sport I doubt it........It loved by millions all over the world. It will take more than Sky to force it into minority sport status

Cricket on Sky

its hardly the fault of Sky.

The ECB shouldn't sell to a subscription channel.

BBC and C4 should bid more and treat the coverage better rather than cutting in with hourly news or starting at 10.30 so bleeding Hollyoaks can air at 6.30.

SKy's cricket coverage cannot be faulted.

Exactly, BBC are forever cutting off the end of sporting events just so they can show a repeat of a crap film.

Erm... yes it can. Far too many silly gimmicks, and the disgustingness of ADVERTS, despite Sky Sports being a subscription channel. I will never subscribe to Sky, Cricket should be on the BBC where it belongs. It is disgusting that Sky have been allowed to buy it all, and has resulted in a massive lack of kids playing Cricket nowadays.

Adverts in between overs and when wickets fall so you don't miss anything, can't see the problem.

The terrestrial Channels have no idea how to show live sport.

If you like it, pay for it, the more money sky pay for it the more money goes back into the game

all the domestic twenty20 games they show would never find a place live on the terrestrial channels
