I have just registered a new sim card with O2 and I couldnt believe the call charges they have for Pay As You Go. Standard UK Calls are 25p/min for the first 3 mins/day then 5p/min for the rest of the day. Then Cross Network is 40p a minute. I know you get free texts too a month.
How can O2 justify 40p a minute cross network in the UK????? I thought that EU regulations came into place which O2 have put into place for Calls to UK from an included country in EU 35p a minute Receiving a call costs
18p minute.
Therefore it is cheaper to phone a cross network UK mobile lets say Vodafone on O2 UK in lets say Estonia or Crotia than calling a Vodafone mobile in the UK on O2. Its ridiculuous.
Cancelled the registration went on Orange 15p a minute regardless of what network and you get free texts too.
