activating BBT Account
slight problem...
Had a lot of trouble with BT internet recently and I now cant restablish my BT Talk account with My BT homehub. As a result I cant make calls via my BT Talk number. I can register the handset with the base but not the number with the Hub. Anyone know how? I tried doing the 192.168.1.254 thing and then add BT talk account, but it just goes to my online account, with no option to add it

I seem to remember that when my hub went down it
"forgot" I had the broadband talk facility. I had to re-register the service following the instructions in the booklet and using the password etc in the original BT e-mail. There is a help desk based in the UK for the service but I cannot remember the number. If you ring the normal broadband faults number they should be able to either tell you the UK number or put you through. |

Try this, goto http://www.bt.com/bbv then enter your talk number and password, click on configure hub/router at next screen.
