Ok so i went and bought one at the weekend. Its great fun..ok the graphics will never match the 360 or Ps3 BUT i bought it purely for gaming fun and it delivers on all levels.

What i am asking is. is it worth getting component cables for it to make the picture clearer? We do have a 32 inch lcd HD TV but i was just wondering if the difference is noticeable when using component cables instead of the composite cables it comes bundled with.

Thanks for your advice people

Composite is the worst possible connection, using RGB or Component will make a really worthwhile improvement - although as it's American it might only do Component and not RGB?.

Ive seen an RGB Scart cable on amazon. It seems more expensive than a set of component cables. I can pick a set up for about 15 quid. Is it the same sort of quality?

RGB is theoretically slightly better than Component, but there shouldn't be any noticeable difference between them.

If your TV supports progressive scan then use component as it will output at 480p and thats the best your get out of it. I had RGB scart before and component looks clearer on my Plasma.

If your TV doesn't then stick with RGB scart.

composite is just terrible

Happy wii-ing
