Hi My DVD player/recorder has Component cable the red, green, blue cable and so does my Xbox360,

Problem is my TV has only 1 input of Component and it's a pain to keep changing the leads over when I want to use my DVD recorder and then Xbox360 is they a box I can get to plug them both in and setect with 1 I want to use?
i've looked but can't find one anyway thanks in advance

You just need a switch - they are certainly available, but less so here than in the USA - as Component is only now really starting to make an appearance in the UK, and probably won't make much impact anyway, as it's been overtaken by HDMI.

Essentially Europe used SCART, and America used Component. Because America started HD long before the UK, they uprated Component for HD, SCART was never uprated in the same way - we just used the American gear!.

Thanks for replying Nigel, I found a company selling them in the UK tonight and ordered one at £14
I was surprised most high street stores didn't have them but they are more for the USA,

I had to get one from ebay and cost £12 as knowhere had them in the shops and got told they did not exsist.
It was amazing to see that all these electrical stores didn't have a clue what I was asking for, lots of blank expressions.

Like I said, you're asking on the wrong continent!
