I suppose give Preston a few more years and the similarities will be similar.

Brian has a crush on him, new romance in the kitchn eh?

Yea Preston, but much prefer the Frenchman with Ramsey from last year, and his cheeky smile

The only resemblance I could see were the glasses.

Maybe the OP needs a pair.

Jean-Phillippe was much better!! And he doesn't suck up to Ramsey the way Nick does to Marco.

Nick reminds me of a stockbroker-wide boy, with the red braces and a filofax.

I quite like Nick but to be honest I preferred the show with Gordon Ramsey and Jean-Phillipe than with Marco - didn't seem quite so 'staged' somehow. Still enjoying it though and watch it every night!!

Tonight someone said he looked like Will Young.

Nick is a real sweetheart, he's so adorable.
Think he's got a lovely personality, he comes across very well. Has to be a contender for "Maitre'd of the Month" Kai so i've clearly just made that up here and now but it could quite easily happen!
Gonna have to look into going to the hotel in Dublin he works in.

Nick is adorable, he's so sweet and nice. I think he has the patience of a saint to have to deal with Marco and the awkward customers.

I just think he's dead cute I wish he was on the menu, I could eat him all up.

I quite like Nick, he has a wicked glint, but take a look at the guy on The Restaurant, BBC2, the one who opens the doors and calls people in for assessment

Nick needs to get either a better agent or a better boss. Jean-Phillippe was always credited at the end of the show.

I like all the staff this year with the exception of Matt who is very grumpy and the way he spoke to Anneka was awful.

The other two soux chefs, Roger and I'm not sure of the other one, seem really nice and I think Nick is a great Maitre d'

I also like Marco.

I liked it when he fell over.

I'm a bit cruel like that.

He actually fell twice!

The first fall down the stairs was a classic, but the second fall when he landed in a couple of shepherds pies was equally as ammusing

Oh and I don't think he looks like Preston either.

Nick was just awesome, most deffo. as Angus said... "One of Hell's Kitchens unsung heroes" - He seemed to get nothing but praise and more than flattering comments from everybody and he richly deserved it too.

Loved the relationship he had with Marco too, It was brilliant watching the two of them together and the odd little banter they'd have at the Passe' and during the DV.
