Virgin Mobile
The Virgin Mobile 300 anynet anytime minutes and 300 anytime anynet texts for £10 per month is back on.
All you need to do is prove that you are or live with a Virgin Media customer. So you'll need a Virgin Media account number to hand when ordering. Virgin Mobile give you £5 off your first month and another £2 off when you sign up for online access to your account, so my first bill was for £3! for 300 mins and texts. Whatsmore: Free Voicemail Free Call waiting and call hold Free itemised billing 24 Hour UK based customer service Use of T-Mobile's good quality network! |

Hi there, this is the link:
http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...ustoffers.html I think you might be able to put extra bundles on, however you are getting 300 free texts with the 300 minutes anyway. You could call them on 0845-6000-789 or 789 from Virgin Mobile phones. |

If the signal was better I would, but T-mobile isn't as good as the other networks coverage wise, both me and a colleague took this offer and sent them back due to poor coverage.

t-mobile
Maybe its your area.
T-Mobile is the only network that works well in my house and everywhere in London. Old buildings especially with thick walls don't agree well with T-Mobile and you certainly won't get good coverage in there. Furthermore, local communities keep interfering saying that mobile masts are dangerous, meaning that some areas suffer from lack of masts, there is no evidence to show that they are dangerous and there is evidence to show that they are as safe as houses. |

In London you're fine, but try using your T-mobile in Devon or Salisbury or Wales. You'll find Orange and O2 much better.

T-Mobile
Well I've used Virgin/T-Mobile in the following places outside London:
Ipplepen(Village outside Newton Abbot in Devon) Blackburn,Lancashire Manchester Birminingham,Bournville area Brighton Guildford in Surrey And the reception has always been on top bar, but when travelling on the train between Bristol and Newton Abbot,I did see poor coverage. O2 and Vodafone, i've noticed it fluctuates and vodafone has poor sound quality. Three is good but only has 2G coverage provided by O2 and Orange in my house. |

Vodafone around Birmingham city centre has several blackspots.
Orange around Northfield (Birmingham) has a terrible blackspot. There are more but can't remember them all. All networks have good and bad spots. |

blackspots
Yeah your right.
There is a way of getting shut of blackspots though, and this is by installing microcell masts which are small masts which can fit inside buildings and outdoor telephone boxes. Spectrum Interactive(New World payphones) has already done this with T-Mobile in the Bromley area of London. http://www.spectruminteractive.co.uk...microcells.php T-Mobile used to be really bad around 1999 and useless in 1996 when it was One2One. Cable and Wireless(Mercury) and Qwest(United Artists) which were the previous joint owners of the company didn't invest much money into the company and as a result it expanded very slowly, in fact up until 1996 it only covered London and Southern Hertfordshire and slowly expanded to other cities. In 1999 it covered 96% of the UK population whilst other networks covered 98%. Since Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile International) have taken over, they have invested millions on improving network coverage and have launched many new services. |

T-Mobile
Yeah it does because it hardly covers rural wales and I think the orkney islands and Isle of Mull in scotland. Thats because there isn't anyone there to use T-Mobile, so it would be a waste of money.
And officially its 3-Mobile since it only covers 90% (outdoor), T-mobile covers 99.8% |

Virgin
Yes and you'll receive £2 credit for signing up for online access to your account plus a £5 welcome credit.
So your first bill will be £3! You should get your sim the next day after ordering. |

Yeah thats right because most of the Royal Mail is shut on Sundays and public holidays.
I ordered it on a Wednesday and it arrived on a Thursday, but the number port from T-Mobile took 7 days, but i'm actually happy with the service and the customer service is excellent! |

Got my SIM today. Pleased with it all up and running straight away. Surprised actually on T-Mobile signal never reaches full but on Virgin it does. Strange since they use the same network (as far as i know)

T-Mobile
Well T-Mobile have probably installed more masts in your area.
Furthermore, the older the sim is,the less likely it is to give you good reception on modern phones. Thats what I found on T-Mobile/Virgin. |
