I have just purchased a Samsung 42" plasma tv,model PS42Q97HDX and a Samsung DVD home cinema system model HTTHX22R (to be delivered Tuesday 11/9.I have a Pace Sky Plus PVR3.The tv has 3 HDMI sockets and the DVD has 1.What is the correct way to connect the three devices together for optimum sound from the home cinema system mainly when watching Sky.I dont believe the dvd itself has an optical connection. Is there any way to avoid or minimise any possible sound lag again when viewing Sky.Many thanks in advance,Tony.

Right, you're not going to like this BUT..............cancel the order for the Home cinema box. Yes, it has HDMI out to connect to your TV (which I'm sure is a great TV) but it does not have a digital input (neither optical or coaxial, i think). I have just read the review below and there are a few drawbacks.........

Sound is fantastic and it looks really great, however, one thing we did find a bit irritating that there is not an optical in on the amplifier and that was a bit of a pain considering sky+ has an optical out! so we had to resort to the analogue cables and it also means we can't connect other stuff eg., playstation pc etc, by this means. We also are having problems finding a multi region code for it and we do have a fair amount of region 1 dvds..
