My naughty little puppy has chewed the cable which connects my cctv camera to my dvd recorder. The connections are a yellow and white thingy which plugs into the recorder and a red thingy that plugs into the power adapter. (Sorry for the lack of technical words). Can the cable be joined? or will I have to buy a new one? Thanks in advance.

Generally always safer to purchase a new cable to be honest - it may even be a more common type of cable than you think, can you post a photo of the damaged one?
