This comes up time and time again....the best solution is to purchase a microfibre cloth (Any supermarket a couple of quid) Dampen the cloth with warm water and wipe the screen. If you want you can wipe it off after with a dry microfibre cloth although I have never needed to bother. Nothing else is required.
All you have to do is wash the microfibre cloth on a regular basis to stop any dirt build up that may scratch the screen...
Hope this helps and saves you money.....

Agreeing with call100 on this. This question appears every now and again, so won't comment on the search facility as it's not 100% anyway.

But yes, the microfibre cloth barely damp wiping over the LCD screen LIGHTLY. A few light wipes is more than enough. Most of the time this will be fine and definately no need for any of those awful alcohol wipes.

Someone at work used a "telephone wipe" on their LCD monitor. Took ages to get it right again, I brought a cloth in for her to use and was restored but what a mess the wipe used...

I did that to my Dell screen, I screwed it right up but I then purchased the stuff bapiow uses and cleaned up the mess I made and now I don't even need to cover my screen at night anymore.

Cover your screen at night????

Why would you want to use anything that cost more than nothing?
