I have brought a Technika TT-07 AV sender to transmit the signal from our Sky digibox to the upstairs tv. All has gone fairly well so far, and we have a fairly good picture. The only problem is we cannot change channels upstairs, nothing is being registered.

We have tried pointing the transmitter unit at the Sky digibox but no joy. The unit also comes with an IR extender cable which you can place directly over the IR eye on the Sky digibox, I have tried this in various positions but again no joy.

Does anyone know where the IR eye is on the Sky box? And has anyone had any problems getting this AV sender to work with a Sky digibox?

Hi, I have one of these clever little gizmo's and I have found that if you place the "magic eye" directly in front and to close it does not work, it also seems to stop the Sky Remote working as well. I place my magic eye 2 inches infront of the Sky Box bit and slightly to the left, this seem to work for me.

Regards

got it working the other day, had to use the fiddly remote extender cable. just put the three eyelets below the front of the skybox and it's done the trick!!

got perfect reception and now the remote control works, not bad for a £20 cheapie from tesco.
