Phone memory Question
gary the great
09-09-2007
I'm getting a Nokia N70 this week, i'll be looking to put a few apps etc on it. Wouldmthe internal 30mb plus the 64mbcard be enough memory or should i get more?

And do bigger cards slow the phone down a lot?

It all depends which Apps you want to install. No, a bigger card won't slow down the phone. However, not all makes of card are the same speed. Some of the ones sold on eBay are particularly bad. Given that you can buy a branded one for a good price from a reputable site. Its silly to risk data loss.

I would definitely recommend getting a bigger memoy card. They are so cheap nowadays, you can get a 2gb SD from play.com for about £14 delivered.

If you plan on installing a route planner such as tom tom on the phone, this app alone takes about 512mb.
