I find him hilarious in small doses, but usually find after several days on the trot he just starts to bug me lol

does he ? care to link any of them ? Really he is very witty in my opinion .

Sorry I find them cringeworthy and they are all scripted. He cannot adlib.

I know they are all scripted, but they make me laugh out loud a lot.

i liked it when he said something about adele either hitting jim or her crying and then he goes 'and i wouldn't want to see a girl cry'

I really like Angus. Haven't seen much of Hell's Kitchen yet but will be tuning in from now on.

I find some of his on-liners funny, buy you're right it's obvious that they are scripted and he's reading them off an auto-cue. When left to adlib on his own he's terrible as has been proved in the interviews with the one's that have been voted out.

I read somewhere that Marco doesn't like him at all and that Angus is terrified of Marco.

I was gonna say, aren't they all written for him?

He did always come up with a few good one-liners amidst the p*ss-taking banter (in between reading his lines) on Have I Got News.... with Paul Merton & Ian Hislop.

He's alright. No comedian, but better than the average presenter.

Sorry, I find this man as amusing as a plank of wood, I never liked him he even ruins one foot in the grave for me.

He's good at times but does annoy me at other times....

Liked the one yesterday about Brian happy moving teams but so did Jim.

when reading out the competition question ... 'answers on a postcard ... would be pointless...' made me chuckle. i wonder if he writes his lines himself.

I also liked last nights competition.... I dunno why just made me laugh...

he spent ages reading out the usual t's and c's and finished with "and if your not clear on that, id be happy to pop round your house and explain in more detail"

It says on the end credits, "Written & presented by Angus Deyton", so I assume he does.

I liked the... "Now we know what makes Barrys mash so tastey...Adeles saliva."

I wondered why the writers decided to leave out the obvious 'something old' from that gag.

Maybe that was before he done a Goody on them.

Angus deaton is very funny.

When the pigeon disembowelling scene finished he said something like 'those of a nervous disposition should look away now' just as he passed Tony Blackburn

The first credit at the end of the show is that it was written and presented by Angus Deayton, so he obviously writes them himself!

I think he does a pretty good job. I love it when he disdainfully describes who's in the restaurant today!
