Help with my orange mobile insurance
I've got a samsung d900 with orange and when i was on holiday i got pushed in the pool with it in my pocket so the phone is totally bust, and i know that orange does not cover water damage with their insurance.
Does anyone know if they will just charge me the £15 excess or pay the full amount for the phone? or does anyone know any other way i can get a replacement, i have 6 month of my contract left and pay £5 per month for gold insurance. Any help will be much Appreciated, Thanks |

If you are only paying £5 I'm pretty sure its the old style Orange Care, which is actually the best in the business and absolutely brilliant.
They will normally waive the £15 on your first claim. If you are on the £6 new Orange Care thing... then its not so great... but still better than the other networks apparently, but I don't have any experience of claiming on this. I've heard it can be difficult depending on the rep you end up talking to about it. |
