Orange PAYG sim registration (What a Joke)
Tenacious Pee

I've been trying for 2 days to register a PAYG sim, via the orange registration telephone line.

So far i haven't been successful, for the following reasons.

After phoning the number and going through the options, the line rings a couple of times then disconnects you without getting through to a person.

When i did get through the line was so poor i could understand the person at the other end, sound quality reminded me of voip when the bitrate drops right down.

Phoned this morning, got through straight away, nice clear line could here the CS person nice and clearly, and she told me that the systems are down, and i cannot proceed with the registration, Please phone back in 2-3 DAYS!!!!!!! and another person will deal with the request.

Just a bloody joke, i wouldnt mind going to another network just to get away from orange but my handset is is a Sony K800i and is locked to orange, and i am not paying orange to get the phone unlocked.
