Hi, probably in the wrong forum, but i'm looking at buying a budget Sat Nav sometime in the future.

Tesco have a "Medion go pal" for £79

Is it any good?

Are there any better ones available for less than £100

I want it do points of interest too!

It's good but you kind of get what you pay for m8. The points of interest are a bit restricted. They seemingly only have 5 and have ommitted things like railway stations etc
You might be better picking up an i3 as these have easily customisable POI and even sites dedicated to this. They can be picked up for around £80-100

It depends what you want really. I've got TOM TOM 5 running on an old Dell axim - the software is now well out of date, but I just download the latest speed camera POI and its got all I need - I only use it for the speed cameras (and occasionally when stuck in the middle of a city).

Make sure you can get updates. £70 though -thats fantastic!

Thanks a lot, i still haven't brought a Sat-Nav yet, so any ideas are appreciated!

Does it have "points of interest? I'm a bit of a history buff and like checking out old castles and things.
